What is High Consistency Hydrapulper?
The high consistency hydrapulper is mainly used for de ink pulping of waste paper such as newspapers, magazines, and paintings. Under high concentration and heating conditions, shredding waste paper and adding chemical agents such as de ink agents can fully utilize the comprehensive effects of mechanical friction, kneading, and chemical additives to quickly separate ink particles and other impurities from fibers. Combined with subsequent processes such as flotation, washing, and purification, ink particles and other impurities can be effectively removed, producing pulp with considerable whiteness. High concentration shredded waste paper can reduce the damage to fibers during the shredding process, prevent impurity fragmentation, improve de ink efficiency, save steam and chemical usage, and reduce power consumption.

Structure And Working Principle of High Consistency Hydrapulper
The high consistency hydrapulper is mainly composed of components such as tank body, rotor, and transmission device. The pulper rotor adopts a unique three bladed spiral structure, with wide spiral blades wrapped around the screen rotor. When the rotor rotates, the waste paper pulp moves along the blade surface from top to bottom under the action of the spiral blades, and is discharged from the bottom of the rotor and thrown towards the groove wall. Then it rises along the groove wall and is re rolled by the rotor to the bottom.
This process repeats, forming a turbulent circulation of both rotation and up and down agitation of the pulp. During the circulation process, the waste paper fed into the pulper is subjected to strong hydraulic impact and mechanical tearing of the impeller, resulting in intense friction and kneading between each other, and finally dissociated into individual fibers. At the same time, due to the combined effects of mechanical friction, kneading, and chemical additives such as ink removal agents between fibers, impurities such as ink particles on the surface of the fibers are peeled off and separated from the fibers.

How to Install The High Consistency Hydrapulper?
- According to the process requirements, arrange the equipment and design the foundation. The dynamic load coefficient of this equipment is calculated at 1.6.
- Carry out civil construction according to the equipment foundation dimensions, and determine the foundation height based on the equipment layout and operational requirements.
- Hang the high consistency hydrapulper on the foundation, check that the equipment elevation, reference line, pipe mouth orientation, etc. meet the requirements, and preliminarily level the equipment, making the main axis of the equipment perpendicular to the horizontal plane.
- Grout the equipment foundation, and after the grout dries and reaches a certain curing period, calibrate the equipment levelness and correct the appearance of the foundation.
- Leave at least 1.5m of space above the equipment for rotor disassembly.
- For safety reasons, it is recommended that users raise the entrance of the tank about 800mm above the operating platform, or install protective barriers around the entrance.
- High consistency hydrapulper generate significant inertial forces during operation. To prevent equipment shaking during pulping, reinforced concrete should be used at an appropriate position below the upper mouth of the pulper for reinforcement.
- After equipment installation, a comprehensive bolt inspection must be conducted to ensure that there are no debris inside the machine, the bearings are adequately lubricated, the V-belt is properly tensioned, and the rotor is rotated by hand without any abnormal situations such as collision or rubbing.
- Jog the motor to check if the electrical appliances and wiring are normal, and if the rotor rotation direction is correct. The correct rotation direction is: when viewed from above the equipment, the rotor rotates counterclockwise and must not be reversed.
