The inflow pressure screen basket is round, slot space uniform, screening qulity is good, high capacity and low pulp impulse features. It’s suitable for screening wood pulp, various straw pulp and waster pulp as fine screen equipment , and screening accept pulp before paper machine.
How to Maintenance a Pressure Screen?
- The spindle bearings are lubricated with grease, and there is an oil filling device on the front end plate of the machine base, which is filled twice a week.
- The bearing of the lid lifting device should be lubricated once a year.
- The tension of the triangular tape must be checked.
- Regularly check whether the mechanical seal cooling water supply is normal, and clean the tubular filter screen once. When the pressure difference between the front and rear of the filter is greater than 0.1Mpa, it indicates that the filter is clogged. A new filter must be replaced.
- To avoid difficulties in restarting, the screen basket must be carefully cleaned during prolonged shutdowns.
Light impurities and air in the pulp naturally rise to the top slag discharge outlet and are discharged, while heavy impurities can settle to the bottom and be discharged as soon as they enter the machine. In this way, on the one hand, it effectively shortens the residence time of impurities in the screening zone, reduces the possibility of impurity circulation, and improves the screening efficiency; On the other hand, it prevents damage to the rotor and screen basket caused by heavy impurities, extending the service life of the equipment.

How to Effectively Extend the Working Time of the Screen Basket?
- The outlet of both the good pulp and the tail pulp should be raised above the top cover of the pressure screen to ensure that the pulp completely fills the screening machine and allows it to operate at a stable full load.
- It is best to use a high-level tank for pulp inlet to stabilize the inlet pressure.
- Pay attention to the installation of dilution water pipes, sampling, pulp degassing and other devices according to the instructions of different pressure screen basket.
- Pass the good pulp through the sieve holes. Generated by static pressure and centrifugal motion, the size is also influenced by the surface shape of the sieve plate. The wavy sieve plate is 1.5 times larger than the smooth sieve plate.
- Remove the coarse residue from the sieve holes. The special shape of the rotor generates stress during motion, and the magnitude of this stress is also affected by the gap size. The smaller the gap, the greater the stress.
- The radial velocity difference generated during pulp movement is inevitable and consumes energy.
