Hydrapulper Rotor for Pulping

This rotor also known as pulper rotor, is only core moving component of the hydrapulper. Its high speed rotation generates powerful eddy currents and shear forces, which play a decisive role in pulping efficiency and energy consumption.

Pulper Rotor Operation

When raw materials enter the pulper, the pulper rotor first stirs them. Its high-speed rotation creates a vortex inside the pulper, ensuring thorough mixing and preventing sedimentation. Then, the pulp is broken down, continuously drawn into the shear zone created by the rotor blades. The intense friction and shearing force separates the raw materials. After crushing, the rotor continues to rotate to generate a pushing force, and the qualified fibers are smoothly transported to the next process through the holes on the surface of the bottom screen plate.

Pulper Rotor Function

The rotor of the pulper is the core component of the equipment, and its main functions include:

• Fragmented materials
  By generating mechanical shear force and turbulence through high-speed rotation of serrated blades, bundles and sheets of waste paper, pulp and other raw materials are shredded into pulp. ‌
• Mixing and conveying
  The rotation of the rotor drives the pulp to move axially in the tank, enhancing the mixing effect of the material, while conveying the crushed pulp in the designated direction. ‌
• Clean the sieve holes
  In a pulper equipped with a pulp sieve plate, the rotor can assist in cleaning the clogged sieve holes and maintaining the normal operation of the equipment. ‌
• Centrifugal classification
  Some models of rotors achieve the separation effect of light impurities floating up and heavy slag settling through centrifugal force, assisting in fiber recovery. ‌
