Vibrating Screen Plate for Coarse Screening of Slurries

The vibrating screen plate is a core component of vibrating screen and is widely utilized in industries such as mining, metallurgy, and pulp and paper manufacturing. In the paper industry, serving as a coarse screening device within the pulping production line, it is primarily used for removing impurities from chemical and mechanical pulps, as well as for the coarse screening of waste paper pulp. Vibrating screen plate can effectively remove coarse impurities such as metals, plastics, rubber, etc. from waste pulp. It achieves pulp screening and sieve hole purification through pressure pulses generated by periodic vibration. Good pulp is discharged through the sieve holes, while coarse residue is discharged from the tail of the sieve frame.

The Working Process of Screen Plate in Vibrating Screen

The pulp flows from the headbox into the screen frame. The motor drives the screen frame to vibrate via a rubber plate. The pulp and impurities are separated by the screen plate. The vibration of the screen frame helps to screen out impurities from the pulp and prevents clogging of the screen holes. The good pulp enters the pulp tank and flows out from the outlet, while larger impurities are retained on the screen plate and then pushed to the top of the screen frame for discharge.

Vibrating Screen Plate Type

There are two types of screen plate, namely perforated sieve and slot sieve, each with different sizes of sieve holes (slots). Users can choose according to the raw material situation and process requirements. Install a circular weighted block each, and change the weight or eccentricity of the weighted block to adjust the vibration amplitude of the sieve.
